The Center Cass Community Band is an adult concert band for people who live in the Center Cass School District or who are connected to Center Cass School District 66. Our members consist of former students, community members, parents, grandparents, teachers, administrators, and so on. Everyone in the ensemble has a connection to Center Cass.
The Center Cass Community Band will be under the direction of Mr. Tom Tedeschi. Mr. Tedeschi has been teaching in District 66 for 25 years and is the current band director at Lakeview Jr. High School and Prairieview School
Under his direction, his ensembles have received Superior ratings at both local and national music festivals. Lakeview Jr. High School Wind Ensemble has performed at the Midwest Clinic as a rehearsal ensemble. The Wind Ensemble was selected first in their class at the ISU Middle Level Concert Band Contest from 2012 -2014. They were selected as a feature performer at the 2010 ILMEA All State Conference and were also selected as one of the finalists at the 2014 University of Illinois Superstate Band Festival. Mr. Tedeschi lives in Woodridge with his wife Carol. He has two sons, Danny and Sam who are studying Music Education at Illinois State University. Both of his sons attended District 66 Schools. |

Time to dust off that horn or find your sticks. If you are a high school senior or older, live in the Center Cass community or have a specific connection to the district, you are eligible to be a part of this group. Don't have an instrument any more? We may be able to help you get back into playing. Does your instrument need repair? We can help you get it back into playing condition.
